Documentary data on the severe punishments that followed the murder of Bardhok Biba, including four hangings.
On 7.8.1949, the first secretary of the Mirdita CPSU Committee, Bardhok Biba, was killed. They were accused based on articles 3/7, 12, of law no. 372, dated 12.12.1946. With a page and a half of pretext, the prosecutor requested a trial with an expedited procedure. The prosecutor did not bring any evidence to support his accusations, while he linked the event to the “American imperialists” and the “Tittian Trotskyists”. A few years after his release, he was arrested on 4.11.1980. He was charged under articles 55/1 and 27 (internment) of the Criminal Code. He had been spied on by 10 collaborators. He had been under the Sigurimi report immediately after he had been released from prison. In one report, it was said that he had said: "Here they talk about equality, but how is this equality when one eats more than the other. They say with their mouths that we have equality, in fact we do not. We do not intend to surrender. The time has come for them to eat each other. If the time of war comes, it is better for my friends to kill me than for these people. I will join my friends and return to these people. Even when they have peace, these people do not sleep easily. They keep their ears up like rabbits. They are afraid of peace lest something bad happen to them." The Mirditë District Court, with decision no. 10, dated 4.2.1981, declared him guilty and sentenced him to 10 years of imprisonment and 5 years of internment. It was upheld by decision no. 48, dated 26.2.1981 of the Criminal College of the Supreme Court. He was released on 27.6.1989 by Ward no. 311 Qafë-Bari./ Kujto.al
