A serious event has shocked the city of Shkodra this Thursday, where a young woman lost her life just a few days after becoming a mother for the first time.

Just hours before she passed away, a public appeal was made for urgent blood donations of type 0 negative, as her condition had deteriorated significantly. The appeal spread rapidly on social media and dozens of citizens responded immediately, but despite the efforts of doctors and the solidarity of the people, she could not survive.
Migena had completed her studies as a teacher in Geography at the “Luigj Gurakuqi” University in Shkodër and practiced her profession with dedication. In addition to her work as a teacher, she was also engaged in environmental issues as part of the “Eko Mendje” association, where she was known for her energy and dedication.
Her personal life had just begun a new chapter, as only four years ago she had gotten engaged to her partner, with whom she had built the dream of a family.
Her loss has brought many reactions. Activist Mirsad Basha remembered her with touching words on social media, describing her as one of the most energetic and exemplary girls in the city. Meanwhile, her friends and associates from the association have planted a tree in her memory, as a symbol of the life and contribution she left behind.
