US President Donald Trump attended a rally in Nassau County focused on law enforcement, public safety and support for law enforcement. During the event, Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman thanked the former president for the policies he implemented during his tenure, particularly border security and the fight against drugs. Trump was at the rally in support of Blakeman, who is running for governor of New York.

“We are honored to have President Trump with us today to honor the men and women of all professions in law enforcement and firefighters,” Blakeman said during his remarks from the podium. He added that border control measures have helped protect families and children from the dangers of illegal drugs like fentanyl.

For his part, Donald Trump stood on stage next to supporters and local representatives, greeting the participants in the hall amid widespread applause.

There are fewer and fewer mothers and fathers losing their children to fentanyl and illegal drugs coming through our fragile borders under Biden and Harris. Thank you, President Trump!”

Donald Trump stood on stage near the podium and listened to Bruce Blakeman's speech, while waving and shaking his hand at the beginning and end of the speech.
