The 15th rally against Prime Minister Edi Rama will be held today.
A protest like never before. Outraged Albanians demand the removal of the prime minister.
Tirana has been under the 'power' of protesters for 14 days. But not only Tirana, the protests have spread to other cities in Albania, who unanimously demand Rama's departure.
In an interview in "News24 "Weekend", activists Ali Dizdari and activist Bekim Shehu, spoke about the protest and its importance.
During the interview, activist Ali Dizdari said that citizens are worried and frustrated, as there can be no talk of strategic investments, while Albanian youth have left.
"What value do investments have when youth are leaving? Who will benefit? What will it be for," said Dizdari.
Also during the interview, they indicated that students are in this protest and that they are disappointed and that they have not had the support.
They further stated that they were not without pressure, but expressed their conviction in their positions.
During the interview, activist Bekim Shehu added that Albanian youth have lacked representation and support programs. He also underlined that this protest has now become their voice, the voice of the students.
"Albanian youth lacked representation, and the protest became their voice. Everyone is expressing dissatisfaction. This protest has no partisan overtones and this is everyone's protest," said activist Shehu.
