TIRANA – Turjan Hyska is the production's chosen one to be alongside Floriana Garo and Liberta Spahiu at the End-of-Year Festival. The 'Vizion Plus' moderator recounts the hesitations he had until the moment he said yes to the organizers' invitation. According to Tur, the RTSH Festival is much more than a television program. "It is history, tradition and above all national wealth," he says in the interview given to "Bluetooth". He also talks about the relationship he has with his two colleagues on stage, where he says he is happy to be among them and the only problem is his height, which will penalize him next to the two beauties.
How did you get the invitation to be the moderator of the RTSH festival?
By Shpëtim Saraçi (artistic director), Bledi Laço (director) and the director of RTSH, Martin Leka.
Did you have any moments of hesitation about saying yes to this project?
In fact, I always have a very busy December, due to the numerous productions at 'Vizion Plus', but with the support of the general director of 'Vizion Plus', I decided to accept the invitation. Appreciating the fact that the RTSH Festival is an event that every moderator wants to have on their CV. I really like the artistic staff this year, so I think we will achieve something that the public will like.
What do you think will be different this year with your participation in this competition?
The RTSH Festival has its own physiognomy that cannot be easily changed, but together with the staff and the two co-presenters we will try to give it energy and freshness. After all, we are three young presenters!
Have you heard the songs in rehearsals? What do you think of the singers? Are they worthy of representing Albania at the Eurovision Song Contest?g?
I have my preferences, but I'm not allowed to express them. I know there will be strong competition!
Will you be involved in this festival and, with your personal ideas, give something of yourself?
What I liked from the first meeting with the artistic staff was the desire to work as a group and to accept new ideas. However, I will say that in this project I am simply in the role of moderator and not author.
In your opinion, what has been missing from the RTSH Festival so far?
I don't know what to say...
Even though it is a professional competition, it is not very popular with young people, why do you think the RTSH Festival has 'opened up' in this area?
I think this festival is much more than a television program, it is history, tradition and above all national wealth! Trends change, a festival remains a festival!
Do you think that choosing young and successful moderators for the public is a trick by the organizers to attract new viewers?
This question should be asked to the organizers, only they can give an accurate answer regarding our choice.
You can call yourself 'blessed' between Liberta and Floriana, do you feel that way?
Of course! I have always been for national unity. I really like the selection of girls.
Did you know the girls before? Did you have an opinion on their skills as moderators, any criticism?
Of course, I've followed them and have an opinion on both, but I'll tell them privately that I don't know how they'll react.
How do you feel about being between two beautiful, but also very tall women?
This is a problem. My neck is going to be sore these days. I'm barely going to be able to stand, I have nothing to do.
Have you ever had a height problem, given that your partner, Orinda, is also tall?
(Laughs) I'm not short enough to have a complex, but to be honest, if I were 1.90 it wouldn't be bad! God blesses us in one way or another, so we make do with what we have.
You've proven that you can do many things on television, what else do you have left to do?
In fact, I've never done radio and I'm very angry about it.
For example, taking advantage of the stage, when will we see Turin sing?
I don't know. This is a group decision.
Since we are in a festival atmosphere, did you watch the Magic Song, but what about Orinda's performance?
All the fun! I liked everything for the sake of truth.
You've been in a relationship for many years, when will you and Orinda get married?
The day you will publish it in the newspaper.
How will Turi spend the holidays, do you prefer family holidays or crazy ones with friends?
For me, it's enough that there is a celebration, it doesn't matter how it is celebrated.
