New footage has emerged of the escape of Albanian prisoner Edmond Tafa. In the video published by Greek media, he is seen walking among people and it is not clear that he has just left his cell.
Tafa has been on the run for 48 hours now, while Greek authorities have intensified the search for his location.

The escape was discovered shortly before 08:30 a.m. Tuesday morning, when the prisoner, who was working transporting bread as part of his employment at the Prison Central Supply Depot, managed to disappear under unclear circumstances.
In this case, authorities arrested two prison officers on charges of releasing a prisoner, while authorities are examining all possibilities, including the scenario of an organized escape plan or help from collaborators.
The 48-year-old was serving a prison sentence for drug and weapons violations, with a release date set for July 2031.
It is worth noting that he was subject to the leave-taking regime, he had already received three leaves and another, three-day leave, was scheduled for the week, which he “received” earlier.
