Tom did not want the funeral of the priest.
"I am here as Gramoz, as a member of parliament, as the Speaker of Parliament to bid farewell to a former minister and a parent who passed away before he was 50 years old. In such moments, we extend our condolences to Dritan's parents, Dritan's wife, Dritan's children. In such cases, we must find each other to cope with such pain.", said Ruçi.

DRITAN PRIFT'S ILLNESS
Former Minister of Energy, Dritan Prifti, passed away yesterday after a serious illness. Even after undergoing intensive treatment in Italy and Germany in recent months, he unfortunately could not fight off leukemia. BalkanWeb learns that the priest passed away at his home. After Italian doctors had given up hope days earlier, he returned to his family to spend his last hours with them.

He returned to Albania on Wednesday, and it was reported that his condition was deteriorating. Shortly before the June 25 elections, he claimed that he was facing a serious illness, which did not allow him to be part of the campaign. The priest said that he was physically unable to do so after battling an aggressive and difficult blood disease for over a year. The priest served as Minister of Energy in 2009-2010.
