Elon Musk has publicly reacted after his name was mentioned in the latest release of files related to Jeffrey Epstein. The documents include emails from 2013, in which Musk appears to discuss Tesla-related business matters with Epstein, who was later convicted of sexual assault. According to the files, a year earlier Musk had sent Epstein a message asking: “What day or night would be the craziest party on your island?”
After the release, Musk responded with a social media post, saying he had been one of the strongest voices calling for the full release of Epstein's files and the prosecution of child molesters. He claimed he was aware that, in his words, "the mainstream media, far-left propagandists, and those who are truly guilty" would deny the allegations and try to discredit him.
Musk denied any involvement in Epstein's criminal activities, stating that he had never attended his parties, traveled on the plane known as the "Lolita Express" and never set foot on his private island. He described the situation as "extremely painful," saying he had been unfairly accused of something that went against his values.
"If this pain serves to protect vulnerable children, then it's worth it," Musk said, adding that he was willing to face criticism in the future to contribute more to protecting children and giving them the opportunity for a safe and happy life.
