Ukraine has struck three major oil refineries on Russian territory in just three days, targeting facilities that together represent about 10% of Russia's total oil refining capacity.
The targets of the attacks were the Novokuybyshevsk refinery, Bashneft-Novoil, and LUKOIL-Nizhegorodnefteorgsintez.
According to data published by Dnipro Osint, these three refineries have a combined annual capacity of 30 to 33 million tons of crude oil. This figure accounts for approximately one-tenth of Russia's total refining capacity.
The attacks on Russian energy infrastructure are part of a series of Ukrainian strikes on facilities related to Moscow's oil industry and military equipment supplies. According to the data released, the strike on three refineries in such a short period of time constitutes an operation with a significant impact on the Russian oil refining sector.
