The President of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, expressed through a reaction on social networks that he is being held in isolation due to the signatures of the former Secretary General of the SMI, Endrit Braimllari, on the issue of lobbying. Meta responded to Braimllari's statements after the latter declared a day earlier that he was not involved in the matter that is now under investigation by SPAK.

"I remain in extreme isolation, while Endriti is "promoted" to vice president of the Tirana Municipal Council," writes Meta, emphasizing that when the lobbying was signed on behalf of the SMI, he was President of the Republic.

"Only a 'revivalist' can forget the signatures he himself cast and the reasons for which he cast them. A common liar, who tries to hide behind oblivion, but the truth is not hidden either by wordplay or by converting party cards," Meta further writes.

Meta also adds that even in SPAK documents, Braimllari is listed as the person responsible for signing the lobbying.
