The implementation of new schemes for payment of debts in installments begins, the categories benefiting from interest reductions of up to 100%. The Universal Service Provider (USP), part of OSHEE Group, has begun the implementation of new relief schemes for the installment payment of obligations from electricity bills, created until December 31, 2024.

The installment payment scheme affects all categories of FSHU clients, with a special focus on categories in need, who are given the opportunity to enter into agreements even for obligations created in 2025.

Who are the beneficiaries?

The agreements include: family clients with economic assistance, retired heads of household and persons with special status, who can repay the obligations created until December 31, 2025, starting from 1,200 lek each month, provided that they have no new outstanding obligations for 2026.

Other family customers will pay fixed monthly installments starting from 2,800 lek for overdue bills until December 31, 2024, provided that they have not created new debits for the period 2025–2026.

In order to maintain an affordable and fair standard, the maximum number of installments will not exceed 240 installments. In any case, the client has the right to choose a payment installment, with a value higher than the minimum value, while adhering to the condition of a maximum of 240 installments.

For budgetary and non-budgetary categories, the scheme of act-agreements provides for the inclusion of the entire obligation in the agreement, with the number of installments determined according to the value of the debit for overdue invoices until December 31, 2024, provided that no new debits have been created for the period 2025–2026.

24 installments 100,000 – 500,000 lek

48 installments 500,001 – 1,000,000 lek

60 installments 1,000,001 – 5,000,000 lek

"Special" scheme

OSHEE GROUP has also approved a special scheme for corrective invoices, summary and systematization invoices, cases of meter dismantling or testing, and energy accumulated in the meter.

These can be paid off in up to 24 installments. If the accumulated debt is paid in one installment, a reduction in interest is obtained.

Reduction of late payment interest

OSHEE Group has also approved late payment interest reductions for clients who choose to repay the entire obligation in a single installment:

  • Family clients benefit from a 70% reduction in late payment interest.
  • Non-family clients (budgetary and non-budgetary) benefit from a 50% reduction.
  • Small businesses benefit from full (100%) forgiveness of late payment interest if they pay the entire obligation immediately.

Conditions for Participation in Facilitation Schemes and Implementing Rules

To benefit from the relief schemes approved by OSHEE Group, debtor customers must have repaid their obligations for 2025 and beyond, before signing the agreement for arrears by December 31, 2024.

Upon signing the agreement, the client must make the first installment payment within 7 calendar days and then continue with regular monthly payments until the obligation is fully repaid.

These measures represent a concrete expression of OSHEE Group's social commitment to support citizens in coping with financial difficulties and to create a fairer and more sustainable relationship with customers.

At the same time, through the implementation of these schemes, it is intended to strengthen the company's financial sustainability, as a prerequisite for providing safe and quality services in the future.
