In Vlora, the escalation of a family conflict has been prevented, where two brothers have been arrested for physical violence against a family member. During the intervention, the police found and seized an unlicensed shotgun in the apartment of one of them.
Cases of domestic violence are treated seriously by law enforcement to ensure the peace and safety of residents. The materials are referred to the Prosecutor's Office for further legal action.

The services of the Vlora Police Commissariat, immediately after the notification that there was a case of domestic violence in the village of Mekat, intervened in time to prevent further escalation of the conflict and as a result of rapid investigative actions for the full documentation of the case, the following citizens were detained:
- Kito Poçi, 47 years old and Fredi Poçi, 51 years old (brothers), residents of the village of Mekat.
These citizens are suspected of having exercised physical violence against the wife of citizen KP during a family conflict.
During the search of citizen FP's apartment, the Police services found and seized a single-shot shotgun, which was being held by him without a permit.
The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Vlora, for further action.
