Today, in the studio of the show "With an Open Heart" by moderator and author Evis Ahmeti, the difficult story that has gripped an entire family from the village of Kuman in Roskovec was discussed. For several days, the peace of this house has been shattered by the sudden and inexplicable absence of Anxhela Shurdha, their daughter, who left without a trace, leaving behind pain, uncertainty and an open wound in the hearts of her closest people. Her parents live between hope and fear, while the little girl, only 7 years old, looks for her mother every evening, without understanding why she does not return. A long, silent and terrifying wait that weighs more and more on this family every day.
During the live broadcast of the show, Anxhela called her father, who was at the police station. In this call, she claimed that she was fine and that she was outside Albania, specifically in Greece. A statement that instead of reassuring the family, has raised even more questions. Since that day, her communication with the family has been rare and unclear. The only connection has been with her mother, who tearfully begs her to return to her minor daughter, who needs her mother's embrace and presence. Her mother expresses shock and helplessness in the face of this situation that she calls meaningless.
According to her, there are strong suspicions that someone could be keeping Anxhela away from her family, as her behavior and lack of return do not match her character and previous life. According to the testimonies, the day of her disappearance remains shrouded in mystery. Anxhela left the workplace after calling her mother and telling her that she would not be returning home that night, with the excuse that she would continue working. The same, according to family members, was confirmed by her landlord, implying that she would not be returning to the apartment. But from that moment on, everything changed. Anxhela's mother showed the phone call with her daughter, while the latter had claimed that she had fled towards Janina on foot. She said that someone was holding her daughter with difficulty.
"I spoke after the show. She called, but for 5 minutes. After the show she called the next day. She told me; Mom, don't worry, I'm in Greece, I'm in Ioannina. I told her to come back because you have the child here. She was with a Greek woman and another man spoke, he was Albanian. They also spoke to me. She said she left on foot to Ioannina. She doesn't say who is holding her there. Who is the Albanian holding her. She has her passport here, she has her identity card with her. She seemed scared when she spoke on the phone. I told her to come back because the police sent us some documents. She said I'll come back, but she hasn't come. She's not free where she is, because she doesn't talk much. She's always with other people, it's not just when she talks a little to us. I've heard that others speak Greek," the mother said.
