The final farewell was given to the former Prime Minister in exile in the 90s, Bujar Bukoshi. He was buried today at the Velani cemetery in Pristina.

Acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti, who attended the funeral ceremony, described Bukoshi as an extraordinary prime minister, writes Paparaci.

"Bujari was in Kosovo even if he was not in Kosovo. He was an extraordinary prime minister, because the times were such, because his personality was such. He was the prime minister of a people without an army, but with thousands of volunteers ready for the liberation war. Doctor Bujari has left the best impressions on the people of Kosovo with his service as a doctor, but also as a leader, as a prime minister.

He gave up an academic career to serve the people of Kosovo. He had a difficult task, because he was the connecting link between the peaceful and armed resistance. I personally met him for the first time when I was 10 years old, when my parents organized a party for the doctors who had successfully completed my father's surgery after the explosion of the IDH.

I will never forget my parents' admiration for the doctor. I met him again on January 21, 1999 in Brussels. He came in his car to support us. Bujar Bukoshi, I contribute because I work so that we have the freedom and the state that we enjoy today," Kurti said.
