The leader of the Alliance, Ramush Haradinaj, has called for calm after the Special Court's conviction, saying that the destruction of Kosovo only helps the enemies.
He said that we must wait for the second stage and win this battle.
"Today's decision with punishment is unacceptable, unjust. The KLA fought a just liberation war. The battle for justice must continue, it must be won in the second instance. Not in my name, not in the name of the people of Kosovo, a condemnatory decision for the KLA. Albanians wherever you are, the most precious people of our nation gave their lives for Kosovo. We have no other homeland. We have no other country. We help the enemies if we damage the property of Kosovo, the lives of our people. If we destroy Kosovo, we help the enemies. We will defeat the united enemies," said Haradinaj.
