After two weeks of closure, the Qukës-Qafë Plloçë road, considered the "golden" road of Minister Belinda Balluku, was opened this Sunday, after costing 260 million euros.

However, as can be seen from the drone footage brought by the journalist News24 FOR BalkanWeb, Lorena Kodra, the road is still covered in mud and debris even after reopening.

Today, traffic has begun only for vehicles destined for the villages of Pogradec that are connected to this road.

Although work has been done to remove the entire rock mass that fell about 10 days ago due to rains and bad weather that affected the Korça region, work continues to clear the road of mud, while vehicles heading to Elbasan or vice versa heading to Korça will resume normal traffic tomorrow (Monday).

We recall that this road has occasionally had numerous problems with landslides and rocks from the debris, which has led to the road being blocked, raising questions about the quality of the works and the geological study.
