"Enough with this soap opera. Justice must have its say"! This is the appeal made public by Xhuli Meçaj, the sister of the victim Altin Meçaj, in a statement to the media. She demands that the event be handled calmly and without speculation, leaving the full disclosure of the truth to the justice system.

Her reaction comes after the publication yesterday of several messages on social networks, which, according to the Meçaj family, are manipulated and do not reflect reality.

Xhuli Meçaj emphasizes that her family insists on a full and transparent investigation of the incident, adding that no one should be prejudiced before the court's decision.

"We are not responsible for the defeats the girl has had in life, but we cannot allow them to become trauma for our family," Meçaj said, underlining that the spread of unfounded accusations and interpretations is unfairly weighing on her family.

She also emphasized that the Meçaj family maintains maximum respect for the Lamaj family, despite the difficult situation created. According to her, violence against an elderly person is unforgivable and morally and legally condemnable, but the family does not seek revenge or escalation of the conflict.

"We do not want revenge. We only want justice and the truth to be revealed," declared Xhuli Meçaj, appealing for a ban on hate speech and public pressure on the parties involved.

Meanwhile, it is expected that the responsible institutions will continue their investigations to clarify the full circumstances of the incident, while the family members request that the matter not be turned into a "public trial", but rather be handled according to the law.
