A powerful explosion rocked the village of Majdal Zoun in southern Lebanon. The Israeli army announced it had destroyed a 200-meter Hezbollah tunnel.
The 200-meter-long underground network at Majdal Zoun contained drones, missile warheads, explosives and platforms that were built with Iranian knowledge to be used for attacks against communities in the Galilee. The powerful explosion was felt in many areas of northern Israel.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Israel Katz announced that the operation, codenamed "Sof Pasuk", destroyed Hezbollah infrastructure near Majdal Zoun.
The Israeli army claims that Hezbollah used the village as an observation point and operational deployment, from where it "launched" attacks against the communities of Galilee during the war.
