"Our uprising will continue," this is how DP leader Sali Berisha concluded his speech, at the end of the DP's national protest.

Today's protest was accompanied by tensions, clashes and violence used by police officers against protesters. Immediately after the closing speeches on the podium, protesters threw fireworks and Molotov cocktails towards the Prime Minister's Office, which led to immediate police intervention, leading to clashes with citizens.

Democratic MPs, Luçiano Boçi, Klevis Balliu, journalist Aulon Kalaja, were injured by Molotov cocktails and transported to the hospital. A police officer was also injured. While over 20 people were injured.

"All, all forms of protests will be used. These are protests, they are, this is a peaceful uprising that has as its mission the overthrow of Edi Rama's narco-regime. This mission is the mission of the Democratic Party, but also of other opposition political forces, of civil society, of other interest groups, which, for which we will do everything to unite in a common front to give the final push to this regime. But one thing is certain, that we have no, this uprising has no stopping. The seventh or eighth in a row, previously unknown in Albania, this has been done, it has both Albanian and global support", said Berisha at the end of the protest.
