Bad weather has gripped Greece. The country has been hit by torrential rain, hail and sleet.
Authorities warn that the situation could worsen in the coming hours, while intense lightning activity has been recorded in Attica.
An appeal has also been made for citizens to exercise caution and avoid movement in areas affected by bad weather.
A strong storm also occurred in the mountainous parts of Xanthi, specifically in the village of Sydini.
