Footage of the serious incident during the Elbasani–Vllaznia match has emerged. Vllaznia's president, Alban Xhaferri, is seen physically clashing with one of the match officials, punching him. More specifically, Xhaferri punches the fourth official.
The match between Elbasan and Vllaznia ended in a 1-1 draw, but what happened after the final whistle has taken the main attention. It remains to be seen what decision the Disciplinary Committee will make and whether Alban Xhaferri will be severely punished for his actions.
Meanwhile, footage of the incident has begun to circulate widely on social media, once again bringing attention to the problem of tensions and violence in Albanian football.
