A fire was recorded today in the waste field in Vlora, where flames have engulfed part of the urban waste disposal area.

Initially, it was not clear whether the fire was caused by high temperatures or whether it was an intentional fire. Authorities immediately began monitoring the situation and verifying the circumstances of the incident. After several hours of intensive intervention, firefighters managed to bring the fire under control in the evening hours, also using special equipment on the ground.

The flames and thick smoke have created concern for residents of the surrounding area, while emergency crews worked for hours to completely contain the fire and prevent it from spreading to other areas.
