At least 30 people were injured on Sunday after one was struck by lightning during a rally in Brazil organized by congressman Nicolas Ferreira, who is backing former President Jair Bolsonaro.
Thousands of protesters, despite the bad weather, had gathered near a monument when they were struck by lightning.
Authorities immediately set up an emergency tent to provide first aid to citizens. 30 people were transferred to hospitals for medical treatment and at least 8 of them are reported to be in serious condition.
