One of the suspected perpetrators of the armed robbery at a jewelry store in Kamëz, which occurred a few days ago, has been arrested.

News24 has provided new footage from the Kalashnikov robbery of the jewelry store. As can be seen in the video, one of the perpetrators of the robbery fell down the moment he entered the jewelry store.

We also recall that on the day of the robbery, while fleeing after robbing the jewelry store, the two perpetrators dropped some jewelry, which was found by the police in pursuit.

After the 22-year-old's arrest, the police did not find any jewelry in his apartment.

22-year-old Elez Hysa from Kruja has been arrested. The young man was arrested in the Kruja Highlands and during a search of his apartment, burnt clothes and other items were found, which he is suspected of using during the robbery.

Sources also explain that several cans of paint were also found, which were suspected of being used to paint the motorcycle to avoid identification by the police.

In front of investigators, 22-year-old Hysa has denied involvement in the robbery. He has a precedent for cannabis cultivation, and will now be investigated for the criminal offense of "Theft by force." It is learned that the police have also identified the other perpetrator and are working to arrest him.

The weapon with which the two young men committed the robbery has not yet been found, nor has the motorcycle on which they fled after committing the jewelry robbery.
