The Constitutional Court decided yesterday evening not to accept Prime Minister Edi Rama's request to declare the measure of suspension from office of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure and Energy Belinda Balluku unconstitutional.
After the announcement of the decision, which resulted from a 4:4 vote of the members of the Constitutional Court, fireworks were set off in the courtyard in front of the Durrës detention center.
We recall that Tirana Mayor Erion Veliaj and former Minister Ilir Beqaj are in custody in Durrës.
