A small amount of suspected explosive material was found in the early hours of this Saturday morning in the door of a shop in neighborhood no. 13, in the Plazhit area of Durrës. The shop is owned by rapper Rigels Rajku, known by the stage name Noizy. After the discovery of the suspected explosive material, the Police services, together with the investigation team, immediately arrived at the scene. The authorities have initiated actions to document the event, clarify the circumstances and identify the person or persons responsible.
The explosive material remained unexploded, so there are no reports of damage or injuries. This is another similar incident affecting the rapper's businesses. On June 8, 2022, a quantity of TNT was placed in a clothing store and a bar owned by him. Again, no one was injured. The previous events were linked at the time to Noizy's clashes with rapper Kleviol Ahmeti, known as Cllevio Serbiano.
For the 2022 explosion, investigations continue by the Special Prosecution Office, while according to data made public during the investigation, the order to place the TNT is suspected to have come from Laert Haxhiu, who was sentenced to life imprisonment for the so-called "Lushnja Massacre", an event of 2017. Investigators are already working to find out whether the latest incident in Durrës is related to previous events or whether it is a new conflict.
