A serious incident has shaken the city of Bergamo, Italy, where a man attempted to kidnap an 18-month-old child inside a supermarket.
The incident occurred at the Esselunga supermarket, in via Corridoni, on a typical Saturday for a young family. According to reports, the father was pushing a shopping cart while the mother held their young daughter's hand as they headed for the exit.
Suddenly, a man in his 30s ran through the glass doors, approached quickly, and grabbed the little girl from her mother's hand, attempting to run away with her. The entire scene lasted only about 20 seconds, but the moments were dramatic.
