For ten days, the residents of Divjaka have been continuing their protests against the project to merge the Divjaka Municipality and its merger with the Lushnja Municipality.

Not even Sunday evening has slowed down the pace of the protesters, who have once again taken to the streets to oppose the proposed change in the local government structure.

Their demand remains the same: to preserve the Divjakë Municipality as a separate unit of local government. In parallel with the protest, the residents continue to sign a petition, which is expected to be sent to state institutions.

The protesters say they will not stop and that the rallies will continue until their demand not to abolish the Divjaka Municipality is met.
