While the Prrenjas-Librazhd road is closed due to landslides and is considered highly dangerous, Prime Minister Edi Rama has planned a visit to Korça. BalkanWeb learns that the Korça Police have been notified that Prime Minister Edi Rama will land by helicopter at 11:00 in Korça, for the inauguration of the Knowledge Pole. It is learned that the helicopter will land at the 'Skënderbeu' stadium.
Given that the only road connecting Pogradec and Korça is closed, the Prime Minister seems to have found a solution to continue his visit, via helicopter. Meanwhile, there is no announcement from the Prime Minister's Office regarding the meeting in question, while the Korça media have reported the news about the visit in question. We recall that the opening of the road was planned for noon today, after the damage suffered by the road in the place called 'Arra e Gurrës'.
But today, there was another landslide in this location, causing plans to be canceled. Even the heavy-duty vehicles that were working to open the road have been moved from the scene, due to the high risk.
