This Thursday the second leg of the Europa League semi-finals was played. After losing 2-1 in the first leg to Braga, Freiburg overturned everything and advanced to the final thanks to a 3-1 victory in Germany.
The goals were scored by Kubler (x2) and Manzambi, while Victor "shook the net" on the other side.
Aston Villa overturned a 1-0 defeat to Nottingham and qualified for the final, after a 4-0 success in Birmingham. The Europa League final between Aston Villa and Freiburg will be played on May 20.
