The most massive civic protest in recent years is taking place in Tirana. Thousands of citizens marched from Skanderbeg Square, the Ministry of Interior and arrived in front of the Prime Minister's Office. Citizens hold banners that read "Albania is not for sale", "Cancel the project" or even directly political slogans such as "Rama in prison, Berisha in prison".

Protesters blame both sides of politics for what is happening in Zvërnec.

Citizens are also heard shouting "Resign." They are demanding the cancellation of the project that envisages tourism investments in Zvërnec, but which has raised allegations that state land is being given away.
