With the start of rainfall in the country, floods have returned, with water flooding the streets of Durrës.
Jola Hysaj, the former candidate on the DP's open list for the Durrës region, has posted footage of the dramatic situation in the coastal city, specifically from the Currilave neighborhood.
"A few drops of rain fell there, and I felt in trouble again. My mind is still there... how many houses will be in trouble again," Hysaj writes.
Just a few weeks after the massive floods in this region, residents are once again facing a difficult situation, where due to high water levels, vehicle and pedestrian movement has become difficult.
The most problematic situation was at the intersections of the coastal city, as well as near the "Niko Dovana" stadium. The high intensity of rainfall also caused landslides from the hillsides, mainly in the Currile area, where one side of the road was blocked due to water and mud.
