Member of the DP Presidency, Ervin Salianji, declared during the national opposition protest in front of the Prime Minister's Office that his movement and meetings with democrats and citizens are to "wake up" the Democratic Party.

Today at the protest square, Salianji said about News24 that the opposition seems to have woken up and that the DP structures are committed to having a high participation in the rally, after the successive scandals of the Government.

Also, the former Democratic MP said that he will continue meetings with the DP base and citizens with the aim of renewing its leadership structure, with the aim, according to him - to overthrow the Government and remove Edi Rama from power.

"The whole purpose of the mass meetings with the democrats was to reawaken the DP, to demand protest and revolt, and the DP seems to have woken up today, with the participation and engagement of its structures, to have reawakened and to have a different energy. The focus today is on the two extraordinary scandals, of Balluk and AKSHI, which have exposed the government not only in political and moral corruption, but also in its links to crime, the determination of tenders for personal interests and Edi Rama and Belinda Balluk, and without a doubt the collapse of the state structure, the state and the mafia, the state and crime, the state and the corrupt are one and we must separate the state from the corrupt to return a state to the service of the citizens. This is my call. I will be in every protest and act that will be against Edi Rama," said Salianji.

Ervin Salianji: Unquestionably. I have never stopped meetings with democrats and citizens and I do not stop them. At the height of these scandals, the DP must do everything to be prepared to overthrow Edi Rama an hour or more ago.
