Member of the DP Presidency, Ervin Salianji, emphasized that the Democratic Party must create organizations that are accountable and that it is no longer the time to say "Rama threw it at us."

He criticized the DP's behavior on the Ombudsman issue when he said that they did not have the courage to say that the opposition candidate would be Besim Ndregjoni, Adriana Kalaja or Skënder Haluci. Going to Parliament with 15 names, said Salianji, gives Rama the right to choose whoever he wants.

"The DP must rise again, to fill the squares. If we do not have the courage to change ourselves, Albania will have a hard time changing. The DP seems to be atrophying, not analyzing itself. Today I am glad that after the power of the Democrats, the DP is on another march today. There are more meetings, analysis and debate. In the end, I want to say that we have discussed how the DP has made mistakes in the electoral system, giving up mandates, territorial division, and not valuing the people who were voted into office by the citizens.

But today, the DP has made another mistake, I agree with Berisha about what he said about the Ombudsman. Should we just cry about the mistakes we make? How can the DP and the parliamentary group go without a strategy and give Rama 15 names and choose whoever he wants. How can the DP not have the courage to say that our candidacy will be Besim Ndregjoni, Adriana Kalaja, Skënder Hauci. How is it possible that the DP does not maintain a clear position…”, he said.
