FC Haka is one of Finland's most successful clubs, winning nine championships and winning the cup 12 times, since its founding in 1934.

A teenager has admitted to setting fire to a stand that destroyed the stadium where the team plays after the team was relegated.

The person in question cannot face criminal charges due to his age.

More precisely, according to what the media writes, three minors, all under 15 years old, were present when the flames began to spread at FC Haka's Tehtaan kenttä stadium in Valkeakoski, about 150 kilometers north of Helsinki.

The incident is being investigated as deliberate arson, although Finnish law exempts anyone under 15 from prosecution.

Marko Larsson, the manager of FC Haka, commented: "We didn't need another blow. The relegation was already hard, and now we have to deal with this damage. Fortunately, we have received support from the community, but rebuilding will be a significant challenge."
