Civil society activists and citizens of Zvernec and Narta protested today against tourist construction in this area. The rally was accompanied by strong tensions.
People said to be security personnel working for companies that will build in the area clashed with protesters. As can be seen from the footage, a protester is dragged away, while screams can be heard.
In the video widely shared on social media, the protester is seen being dragged inside the perimeter surrounded by two people wearing masks and hats, while the police did not intervene, but stood in spacesuits at the entrance to the perimeter.
The Chairman of the Together Movement, Arlind Qori, present at this rally, called it unacceptable that the State Police did not intervene, while the activists were dragged away by the private guards of the company that is building in Nartë.
