Residents affected by the TID project being implemented in Durrës were not satisfied with the meeting held at the municipality, where Prime Minister Edi Rama was also present.

The residents' representative, architect Entela Koja, said that the municipality has been adamant about not withdrawing from the project, asking residents to accept the price and housing options, but the demolition of the apartments will take place.

"The main thing that this municipality and this administration must do is to cancel all IKMT decisions urgently, or people will be together in every facility that will be affected. If they cancel, not a word they said today is worthless," said Koja.

Some of the residents protesting against the demolition of their homes were escorted by police after attempting to participate in the meeting held at the municipality.

Representative of the association of residents affected by the TID project:

At the beginning of the meeting, we were told clearly that you have no alternative but to accept that the project will be carried out. We told you that we are not against the project as long as we have identified errors, are you not in favor of reviewing the project?

We were told that there is no review, we are here to give you options for accommodation prices and facilities where we can accommodate you. The three of them kept you until the end. During the conversation, everyone was irritated by the fact that we were speaking so bluntly, when we started to show objects that have historical value, they told us that we would review them.

The main thing that this municipality and this administration must do is to cancel all IKMT decisions urgently, or people will be together in every facility that will be affected. If they cancel, not a word they said today is worthless.

35 are in first hand, the others are 100.
