Hundreds of Albanians have gathered in front of the Kosovo Specialist Chambers building in The Hague, on the eve of the announcement of the verdict for the former leaders of the Kosovo Liberation Army.
The decision for former Kosovo President Hashim Thaçi, former Speaker of the Parliament Kadri Veseli, former Speaker of the Parliament Jakup Krasniqi and former MP Rexhep Selimi is expected to be announced on September 16.
Citizens from Kosovo, but also from various European countries, have traveled to The Hague to be present on the day of the verdict.
KLA flags were seen in front of the Specialized Chambers building, while those present expressed their support for the four former KLA leaders.
The atmosphere in The Hague comes on the eve of a day that is expected to be followed with great attention in Kosovo, as well as by the families, supporters and associates of the accused.
The first instance verdict is expected to determine the fate of the trial against Thaçi, Veseli, Krasniqi and Selim, after a long process in The Hague.
