The Border Police has blocked a vessel and punished its driver with an administrative fine of 500.000 new leks, after violating the security perimeter at sea, endangering the lives of vacationers.

According to the official announcement, the Border Police services have intensified checks and patrols along the coastline in order to guarantee the safety of vacationers and respect for navigation rules. During a patrol in the “Krorezi” area, a floating vehicle was found to have entered the security perimeter, in an area where vacationers were bathing, creating a risk to their lives.

Violating the security perimeter, endangering the lives of vacationers, the Border Police blocks the vessel and punishes the driver with an administrative fine of 500.000 new lek.

Border Police Services have intensified controls and patrols along the entire coastline, with the aim of guaranteeing the safety of vacationers and enforcing navigation rules.

During patrolling in the area called "Krorez", Border Police services found a floating vehicle that had entered the security perimeter, in the area where vacationers were bathing, endangering their lives and safety.

At the end of the administrative actions, an administrative measure in the amount of 500.000 new lek was imposed on the driver of the vessel, and the vessel was impounded.

The State Police appeals to users of watercraft and the entities that operate them to respect safety perimeters and navigation rules, by not entering areas designated for vacationers.

Also, in areas where security perimeters have not yet been established, boat drivers should not approach the coast or perform entry-exit maneuvers in places where there are vacationers, in order to avoid any risk to their lives and safety.
