The “Dëshmorët e Kombit” Boulevard was overflowing this afternoon in what is being considered one of the largest gatherings in recent weeks. The 14th consecutive massive protest has gathered citizens in record numbers in front of the Prime Minister’s Office building, but the large number of participants has caused the crowd to queue for an unusually long time.

According to reports from the field and the organizers' calls from the podium, the lines of protesters are so dense that people stretch the entire length of the boulevard, reaching as far as Skanderbeg Square.

Views coming from the highest points of the city, including those who have climbed the Pyramid of Tirana, show a river of people that has completely blocked the center of the capital.

The massive turnout has brought about a very heated atmosphere, as citizens, young people, but also numerous representatives of the diaspora are raising a unified voice for the immediate resignation of the government.
