Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has released the first images of a new interceptor drone, developed to counter Shahed drones used by Russia, including jet-powered variants.
According to Zelensky, the system was developed by the military counterintelligence of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) and has been successfully tested in real operations.
The published footage shows the interceptor operating in the field, while its technical details, capacities and specifications have not yet been made public.

Zelensky has stated that the next focus is to increase production capacity and increase the number of these interceptors as quickly as possible.
The development of the system comes as part of Ukraine's efforts to strengthen its air defenses and counter drone attacks used by Russia.
Kiev is increasingly investing in domestically produced systems for detecting and neutralizing attack drones, especially in the face of the widespread use of unmanned aerial vehicles during the conflict.
