In complete violation of the law, with arbitrary and arrogant behavior, the State Police has fined the cars of journalists. News24 and Panorama, who are located in front of the entrance to the television building, in their right to enforce the court decision that requested their permission to enter the work premises, to withdraw personal belongings and files.
KAYO is thus committing 3 legal violations. First, it is not implementing the court's decision which required that journalists be allowed to enter the work premises to retrieve personal belongings and work files.

The Tirana Court has dealt a severe blow to the manager of the KAYO company, Ardi Veliu, who on Saturday took a brutal action, occupying the premises of the company. News24, Panorama TV, Balkanweb, Panorama Newspaper, Panorama Sport, Gazeta Shqiptare and Radio Rash.

But for the illegal acts that followed, on Sunday the Court condemned Ardi Veliu's orders to confiscate, without the presence of Focus Group representatives, equipment, computers, investigative files, sensitive materials, apparatus, cameras (the fate of these sensitive materials is not yet known where they ended up).
But what the Court explains at length is the fact that the freedom of journalists and freedom of expression is guaranteed by the Constitution, something that Ardi Veliu apparently did not know or pretended not to know.
“Regarding the request for the surrender of journalists’ personal belongings and equipment, the court brings to attention Article 22 of the Constitution, which provides that: “1. Freedom of expression is guaranteed. 2. Freedom of the press, radio and television is guaranteed. 3. Prior censorship of the means of communication is prohibited”, a right also recognized by Article 10 of the ECHR.
