Through a Facebook post, Albana Koçiu has reacted to the serious incident that occurred in Maliq, where one police officer was killed and another was seriously injured. Koçiu states that it is a great loss for the State Police and the security institutions in the country, while adding that such attacks on police officers are unacceptable.

The loss of life of the "Eagle" Special Forces officer, Enea Mekolli, in the line of duty during the police operation in Maliq, is a very serious event and a great loss for the State Police and the security institutions in the country.

Such attacks on police officers are unacceptable and constitute a direct violation of public order and the safety of citizens, therefore justice will respond with the full force of the law.

My most sincere condolences to the family of Martyr Enea Mekolli, his colleagues and the entire State Police force.
