American actor Tom Sizemore has died at the age of 61 in a Los Angeles hospital. His manager, Charles Lago, announced the news in a statement, as reported by the Guardian.
Known for his role as the unforgettable Sergeant Michael Horvarth in Steven Spielberg's "Saving Private Ryan," where he starred alongside Tom Hanks, Sizemore was struck down in February by a severe brain aneurysm.
"It is with great sadness that I must announce that actor Thomas Edward Sizemore passed away at St. Joseph's Hospital in Burbank. His brother Paul and twin sons Jayden and Jagger (ages 17) were by his side," the manager said.
