The testimony of Urim Meta, arrested in Tirana with weapons and TNT cartridges, is revealed. During questioning by the investigation team, during his testimony, he admitted to involvement in the criminal activity of arms trafficking.
According to sources from the investigation, Meta has stated that he got involved in this activity due to economic difficulties. "Now that you caught me, I admit my mistake. I got involved in arms trafficking because I needed money. I wanted to build an addition to my apartment," he is reported to have told investigators.
Meanwhile, investigators suspect that Urim Meta may be involved in other episodes of trafficking in firearms and TNT shells. Investigations are ongoing to identify other suspects who may be part of this criminal activity and to fully document the group's activities. He also stated that the weapons and ammunition would be sold for 4 thousand euros, 500 euros each for TNT shells.
"I received the order from an intermediary and I don't know who the person who would receive it in North Macedonia is. I would deliver it there. I received an advance of 400 euros and I would receive the rest after I delivered the order," the arrested Urim Meta further stated.
