The woman who died in Korça has been identified as Bayme Memetali and is suspected of having died the day before.

Neighbors say that their concern came after they had not seen him for a while and decided to enter the house, where they found him dead. In a statement to the journalist News24 Lorena Kodra said that the victim lived alone, as her son was in prison, her husband had passed away, and there was no one else around her.

"We were worried because we hadn't seen her for a while and we went to the house of some neighbors. There we saw that she had passed away. She lived alone; her son was in prison, her husband had passed away, and there was no one else around. She had a sister in Tirana, but she rarely came to visit her. Moreover, she had health problems, as some time ago she had fallen from the fourth floor and could not leave the house. She lived in difficult conditions," said the neighbor.
