"Edison, first of all, I'm very happy that you're back home, after a difficult treatment in Italy.

I have come here today not only as the Director General of the State Police, but above all as a colleague and as one of the people of the large Police family, and for the promise I made that I will be by your side, just as I will be by every police officer who works and sacrifices for the law and the citizens.

The sacrifice of Aeneas, now a Martyr of the Fatherland, and your sacrifice will never be forgotten.

I am so glad to see you here today, in your home, recovering. I know you suffered a lot and that the road to recovery takes time and strength, but I want you to know that you are not alone.

The State Police, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the Albanian Government are by your side and appreciate and support every sacrifice that serves the rule of law.

You did your duty, now it is our duty to continue to be by your side, at all times.

"I hope that you get better every day, that you fully recover, and that you return to duty as soon as possible, where your colleagues and duties in the service of citizens await you."

Police Officer Edison Adri thanked the Director General for his visit and continued support, as well as all those who contributed to his treatment and cure abroad.
