Skanderbeg Square is packed this afternoon, while the grand march of thousands of protesters from Skanderbeg Square towards the Prime Minister's Office building has just begun.

Amidst numerous calls and cheers, citizens are marching on the main boulevard demanding the immediate resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama.

Civil society representatives and organizers of this massive rally have made it clear that this revolt has transcended the boundaries of a single cause. “We are not here just for Zvërnec,” was the motto issued by the organizers, underlining that today’s battle is against an entire governance model that is violating national interests and the property of Albanians.
