Calls against the government and appeals to justice institutions were heard during the 23rd citizen protest, where participants are demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama and profound political changes in the country.
One of the protesters stated that the protest does not represent any political force, but is a civic reaction in defense of national interests.
According to the protester, the country is at an important moment, where citizens must react to what he described as a corrupt system. During his speech, the protester also addressed the Special Prosecution Office, asking it to investigate Prime Minister Rama and those around him.
"There are no political parties here, we are here for the nation. Long live Albanianism and Albania."
There are moments in a nation's history when indifference is the weapon of those who want the nation to surrender, but this is not that moment because all Albanians are together against the corrupt system.
When citizens lose trust in institutions, it is the duty of every citizen to demand accountability. Please SPAK do your duty and investigate the Prime Minister and those around him.
If we want Albania to enter Europe, we must expel those who are holding our future hostage.
Rama, you are nobody, you are not prime minister, don't annoy us, resign!", he said.
