Mystery continues to surround the tragic deaths of three women who were found at sea in Brighton, as British authorities confirmed the victims were sisters.
Jane Adetoro, 36, Christina Walters, 32, and Rebecca Walters, 31, from west London, lost their lives in what Sussex Police described as a "terrible tragedy".
Their bodies were pulled from the water near Brighton beach in the early hours of Wednesday morning, May 14. However, it is still not known when they were last seen alive or what brought them to the seaside city.
Police announced that investigations are still ongoing and that the cause of the women's deaths has not been determined, leaving many questions unanswered.
According to authorities, hundreds of hours of security camera footage have been analyzed and businesses and properties near the beach area have been searched to reconstruct the sisters' last movements.
Brighton is known for its nightlife and seaside bars, but police have not yet confirmed why the sisters were there, what they were wearing or what personal items were found with them. Investigators are working to fully establish the circumstances of the incident.
